Venture Capital Transactions
Venture capital transactions involve sophisticated investors who purchase specialized securities and require specialized agreements giving them extra protections and rights. In all honesty, venture capital investors tend to want to use large or medium-sized firms with known names and do not tend to use me, notwithstanding my former experience in large firms doing this kind of work. However, from time to time I have opportunities to represent the company receiving the investment, and I have experience with the specialized legal mechanisms of the venture capital world.
